For the past 10 years Dr. Lewis has served as Senior Pastor of Community Presbyterian Church located in Celebration, Florida, the town that Disney built.  Pastor William is one of the main characters in the Church Dog series, because in real life he and his wife Michele are the human owners of K'noot's doggie parents, Ruthie and Boaz.  He is also the father of Taylor and Elijah, both featured in the book.

Our Spiritual Director's education includes degrees from the University of Colorado (B.A.), Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Princeton Theological Seminary (TH.M.), and McCormick Theological Seminary (D.Min.).  His most exciting academic moment was co-teaching a preaching class at Princeton Theological Seminary.

Two of Pastor William's most satisfying career achievements to date are launching the Community Hope Center, a ministry that serves the homeless and disenfranchised in the greater Orlando area.   Also, his heart for God's children led him to build a Family Center, focused on introducing the next generation of youth to Jesus.
